Young Jews arrested in southern Amsterdam pass through Schoorl camp before Mauthausen.

A new roundup strikes the southern district of Amsterdam, in retaliation for an attack carried out against a premises used by the occupier. The men arrested in the streets and at their homes are taken to the Schoorl camp, on the coast of Noord-Holland, then sent to Mauthausen. Almost none returned. The death notices sent to families in the months that followed made the Jews of the Netherlands understand what a summons meant.
