The Jewish quarter of the Old Town of Prague was attacked during the Hussite unrest.

The Hussite revolution was at first favorable to the Jews, whom its preachers compared to the people of the Old Testament; but the city crowds, once stirred to revolt, also turned on the Jewish quarter, and the Jews of Bohemia found themselves caught between the Hussites and the Catholic crusaders sent against them, both sides plundering their communities in passing.
