bilan non établi

The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.

A concentration camp opens at Vught; Jewish families are interned there before being deported.

The camp of Vught, in Noord-Brabant, was opened as a concentration camp administered directly by the German security police — the only one of its kind in Western Europe outside the Reich. A Jewish quarter was established there, where entire families were imprisoned and assigned to labor in workshops set up on site. The promise of escaping deportation did not hold: convoys to Westerbork and the East resumed after a few months.
