The Jewish community of The Hague is arrested and then transported to Westerbork.

The community of La Haye, the second largest in the Netherlands by population, is rounded up and deported. The arrests strike both the long-established families of the Jewish quarter and the German refugees who had settled there recently, as well as the residents of the city's institutions. The headquarters of the Jewish council of La Haye served to summon and then to gather; those arrested traveled to Westerbork by ordinary train, under Dutch escort.
