The Jews of 's-Hertogenbosch and northern Brabant are arrested and transported to Westerbork.
In Bois-le-Duc, capital of Noord-Brabant, the Jewish community is summoned and deported. The families, mostly merchants and craftsmen, are transported by train to Westerbork. The Brabantine Catholic clergy had read a protest from the pulpit against the deportation of Jews; the occupier responded by immediately arresting Jews who had converted to Catholicism, who until then had been provisionally spared.
