The Jews of Brno are gathered at the school on Merhautova Street then directed eastward; the first convoys from the city take the road to Minsk, the following ones that to Theresienstadt.

Convoys leave Brno for Minsk in the autumn, in the weeks following the first departures from Prague. The Moravian community, the second largest in the Protectorate, is gathered at the school on Merhautova Street before being taken to the station. Those who arrive in Minsk are confined to the city's ghetto, where the winter conditions are lethal. Very few will return from these convoys from Brno.
