Wolleka, village proche de Gondar (Éthiopie), était au XIXe–XXe siècle l'un des centres d'artisanat des Beta Israel, réputé pour sa poterie et sa vannerie. Les artisans beta israel de Wolleka fournissaient les marchés locaux ; le village devint un site connu après l'opération Moïse (1984) qui marqua l'exode massif de la communauté vers Israël.
