Revdanda, bourgade côtière du Konkan (Maharashtra), faisait partie des localités de la côte ouest indienne où des familles Bene Israel étaient établies avant la migration vers Bombay au XIXe–XXe siècle. Comme dans d'autres villages Konkan, la communauté y pratiquait l'agriculture et l'artisanat, maintenant ses rites propres en l'absence d'institutions communautaires formelles.
