Novi Sad (en allemand Neusatz) est la capitale de la Vojvodine en Serbie. Une communauté juive bien documentée depuis le XVIIIe siècle y prospéra, construisant en 1909 une grande synagogue néologique ; la communauté fut en grande partie massacrée lors du raid hongrois de janvier 1942.
