Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda en hongrois), chef-lieu du comitat de Csík en Transylvanie orientale, accueillit une petite communauté juive hongrophone active dans le commerce jusqu'en 1944. La communauté fut deportée à Auschwitz lors des déportations de la Hongrie occupée.
