Lučenec (en hongrois Losonc) est une ville du sud de la Slovaquie (région de Banská Bystrica), anciennement hongroise. La communauté juive, présente depuis le XVIIIe siècle, était active dans le négoce et l'industrie. En 1944, les Juifs de Lučenec furent déportés à Auschwitz-Birkenau lors des grandes déportations du printemps 1944 en Hongrie.
