Gafsa (antique Capsa) est une ville minière du centre-ouest tunisien, connue pour ses sources thermales et ses mines de phosphates. Sa présence juive est attestée depuis l'Antiquité jusqu'à l'ère contemporaine, en faisant l'une des communautés juives les plus anciennes d'Afrique du Nord.
