Amizmiz, petite ville de montagne au pied du Haut Atlas (région de Marrakech), abritait une communauté juive connue pour son orfèvrerie et son commerce. Les bijoutiers juifs d'Amizmiz fournissaient les marchés locaux et les tribus berbères environnantes. La communauté émigra vers Marrakech puis vers Israël au milieu du XXe siècle.
