Alzira (Alcira), ville de la Ribera Alta valencienne, possédait une aljama juive documentée du XIIIe siècle jusqu'à l'expulsion de 1492. La communauté, relativement modeste, était intégrée à l'économie locale ; plusieurs de ses membres exercèrent des activités de prêt et d'artisanat.
