געגנט: Algérie (Nord-Est, wilaya d'Oum el Bouaghi)

Aïn Beïda est une ville du nord-est de l'Algérie, chef-lieu du département d'Oum el-Bouaghi (anciennement département de Constantine). Une communauté juive s'y installa au XIXe siècle dans le sillage de la colonisation française ; ses membres, citoyens français après le décret Crémieux de 1870, participaient au commerce local. La communauté quitta l'Algérie au moment de l'indépendance en 1962.
