A town in the border region of Briansk, Novozybkov sees its Jewish population marked with the distinctive sign, compelled to labor, then taken in a single day to the pits dug apart.
Novozybkov, near the Belarusian border, sees its community registered and marked in the days following the entry of German troops. The inhabitants are gathered, led out of the town, and shot during the autumn, in the course of operations carried out in the region.
