Cloth-making city in the Briansk region where a large community lived, Klintsy sees its Jews confined in a closed quarter then driven in columns toward the pits of the outlying areas.
Klintsy, a textile town in the Briansk region, was home to an ancient community, born of Old Believers and merchants settled along the border. The Jews who were unable to flee eastward were registered as soon as the occupier arrived, herded together, then led in columns toward pits dug at the edge of town.
