The synagogue of Graz is burned and Jewish shops ransacked; the men of the community are arrested and taken to Dachau.

In Graz, capital of Styria, the synagogue is set ablaze and demolished on the night following the call issued from Munich. Shops are looted, the men of the community arrested and taken to a camp. The city will be one of the first in the country to declare itself emptied of its Jews, the survivors having been driven toward the capital.
