Variété du malayalam parlée par les Juifs du Kerala, le judéo-malayalam est remarquable pour son riche répertoire de chants de femmes, transmis oralement et transcrits dans des cahiers familiaux. Ces chants accompagnaient mariages et fêtes et célèbrent l'histoire communautaire et biblique. Le corpus a été collecté et étudié après l'aliya des Juifs de Cochin en Israël.
