The Protector of the Reich signs the ordinance placing Jewish property under control and forbidding its disposal; it opens the spoliation of enterprises, lands, and accounts throughout the Protectorate.

The Reich Protector signs for Bohemia-Moravia a decree defining who is Jewish and placing the property of those so designated under control. Businesses must be declared, accounts frozen, transactions subject to authorization. The text opens the way to a methodical dispossession, carried out by the Protectorate administration as much as by the German services. The communities of Bohemia and Moravia lose within a few months the material means of their collective existence.
