The Jews of the Protectorate are barred from the bar, medicine, teaching and trade; public schools are closed to them and the community organizes replacement education.

Professional exclusion reaches its completion across the Protectorate: Jewish doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, engineers, and teachers lose the right to practice, following the civil servants who had been removed during the first year. Students are withdrawn from public schools, and communities open makeshift classes. Jewish associations in Bohemia and Moravia are forcibly consolidated under a single leadership, tasked with relaying orders and soon with drawing up convoy lists.
