Chercheur du minhag (rite) des juifs de Libye. Il a établi et publié « Kol ha-Shoneh Halakhot : sefer halakha yomit lefi minhag yehudei Luv » (« Tous ceux qui étudient les lois : recueil de halakha quotidienne selon le rite des juifs de Libye »), édité en 2018 (5778) par le Centre Or Shalom (Bat Yam) en collaboration avec l'institut Har Bracha, et catalogué à la Bibliothèque nationale d'Israël. Il a aussi établi un siddur pour Yom ha-Atzmaout selon le rite libyen et signé un article de synthèse sur la période de R. Eliyahou Bekhor Hazan à Tripoli.
