Rabbin à Fès, propriétaire d'une synagogue portant son nom (saccagée/détruite en 1646). Il figure parmi les signataires des Haskamot (ordonnances communautaires) de Fès de 1584 et 1595, après l'installation de la famille au Maroc à la suite de l'expulsion d'Espagne (1492).
