During the month of February, the German police carry out arrests in Paris now targeting French Jews and elderly people, who had been partly spared by previous waves. Hospices, retirement homes, and hospitals are visited. Those apprehended are taken to Drancy, whose administration will pass a few months later into the hands of the German command.
