The Ustaše authorities hand over to the Germans the Jews still detained in their camps and those arrested in Zagreb; convoys depart from the Croatian capital to Auschwitz during the summer.

Convoys depart from Zagreb to Auschwitz over the course of the summer, jointly organized by the Ustaše authorities and German services, following the internments of the preceding months in the regime's camps. People are gathered in the community's premises before being taken to the station. The Zagreb synagogue, a monument from the previous century, was demolished on the orders of the mayor. The community of the Croatian capital is reduced to those protected by a mixed marriage.
