The Jews of the city and of the Marne are arrested and taken to Drancy.
During the summer, the German police and the French police arrested the Jews of the Marne department. Those apprehended were taken to Drancy. Champagne was located in the occupied zone and came under a German regional command established in Reims, which directed several successive waves of arrests until the Liberation.
