The Haute-Vienne camp gathers foreign Jews from Limousin before their movement toward the occupied zone.

The camp at Nexon, in Haute-Vienne, served as a transit camp for interned foreigners from the Limousin region. At the end of the summer, the regional administration gathered the foreign Jews under its jurisdiction there to hand them over to the occupier, in accordance with directives from Vichy. The convoys traveled to Drancy via Limoges. Nexon had also received patients transferred from the large camps of the Southwest, whom the roundup did not spare.
