The ghetto of Baranavitchy was emptied in several operations; a clandestine network smuggled weapons and young people out towards the forests of Naliboki.

Railroad hub of western Belarus, Baranavitchy sees its ghetto emptied in several operations throughout the year. The inhabitants are led to open pits outside the city; a group of young people organizes an underground resistance there, gathers weapons, and manages to send a few fighters to the detachments in the neighboring forests.
