Repeated shootings took place in the pits of Grabovets, near Baranovitchi, until the liquidation of the ghetto at the end of the following year.
Baranovitchi saw the formation of one of the Jewish resistance organizations of Belarus, in liaison with the partisans of the forests. Several hundred people left to join armed groups, including those of the Bielski brothers, who sheltered more than a thousand people in the Naliboki forest until liberation.
