The Korosten community, a railway hub of Jytomyrchtchyna, is gathered shortly after German troops enter and shot in a ravine near the railway line.

The railway workshops, where many of the town's Jews had worked, had been partially evacuated eastward, and those who had remained were the first to be counted.
