Convoys of Jewish men leave Moravská Ostrava toward the San, where the German administration plans a reserve; the operation is abandoned after a few weeks and part of the deported are turned back toward the border.

Convoys depart from Moravská Ostrava toward Nisko, on the San, as part of a territorial reserve project conceived to concentrate the Jews of the Reich and annexed territories. The men taken there are made to build the camp themselves. The enterprise is abandoned after a few months and some of the deportees from Ostrava are sent back home, but many are driven eastward or die on the spot. This is the first organized deportation from the Protectorate.
