The Jewish places of prayer and shops in Klagenfurt are destroyed; the community of Carinthia ceases to exist.

In Klagenfurt, in Carinthia, the place of worship is destroyed and Jewish families are driven from their homes during the night of violence. The men are arrested and deported to a camp. The province soon declares itself entirely emptied of its Jews, one of the first in the country to do so, and the remaining inhabitants are forced to make their way to the capital.
