The few Jewish families of the town of Aetolia are arrested and added to the convoy assembled for continental Greece.
The few Jewish families of Agrinio, in Aetolia, were arrested in the spring and joined the convoy assembled for mainland Greece. The community was modest and recent, formed by families who had come from neighboring towns for the tobacco trade. Its arrest passed almost unnoticed outside the city. Agrinio figures among the localities whose Jewish presence was erased in a single blow and whose thread no one subsequently took up again.
