The Jews of Vileïka are confined then shot; the city also serves as a gathering place for the communities of the surrounding hamlets.
A town in northwestern Belarus, Vileïka saw its Jewish population confined to an enclosed quarter from the earliest months, put to work on road and railway construction, then led to the pits in the surrounding area. The operations followed one another within weeks of each other, and the ghetto was entirely emptied over the course of the year.
