The community of Pastavy is shot at the edges of the town during the year; the craftsmen held for some time are killed in turn.
A town in northern Belarus, Pastavy saw its Jews gathered in the market square, sorted, then led to a nearby forest where pits had been dug the day before. The craftsmen briefly held back for the workshops were shot a few weeks later, when the occupation authorities decided to empty the ghetto entirely.
