The Jews of České Budějovice and its region are gathered and then directed to Theresienstadt; the convoys from southern Bohemia follow within weeks those from western Bohemia.

The community of České Budějovice, known in German as Budweis, is deported to Theresienstadt in the spring, along with the Jews from the small towns of southern Bohemia who had been gathered in the city. Summons are distributed a few days in advance and property is inventoried house by house. The synagogue, a neo-Gothic building erected the previous century on the banks of the Malše, will be dynamited shortly afterward. The community will never reconstitute itself.
