Utena and Molėtai, two neighboring small towns in northeastern Lithuania, are annihilated on the same day by the same mobile detachment. The Jewish inhabitants, held for weeks in barns, are led on foot to the pits dug at the outskirts of the towns. The path leading from Molėtai to the execution site is today marked by stones bearing family names.
