A small town in the Courland hills, Talsi sees its Jewish population gathered, detained in town buildings then taken into the woods where it is shot, Courland being declared emptied as early as summer.
Talsi, a small town in the hills of Courland, loses its community over the course of the summer: the Jews are registered, subjected to the most humiliating forms of forced labor, then led out of the town and shot into a pit dug in advance. Courland is declared empty of its Jews before autumn.
