Twin to Pithiviers, some twenty kilometers away, the Beaune-la-Rolande camp also receives the men of the green ticket, then the families from the Vélodrome d'Hiver. The separation of mothers and children is carried out there under the same conditions, and the children left alone in the empty barracks constitute the most unbearable episode in the history of the Loiret camps. The camp is administered by French officials until its closure; the convoys departing from it make their way to Drancy or directly to Haute-Silésie.
