The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.

Jewish houses forced night after night, women raped, inhabitants killed

In the month of October, Denikin's troops held Kiev. Jewish homes there were broken into night after night, women raped, residents killed.

The form differed from the classic riot: there was no crowd, no single day of explosion, but a continuous extortion carried out by soldiers who returned each night. Relief committees spoke of a "pogrom in a whisper" — less spectacular and more lasting, against which there was no recourse, since those conducting it were the authority itself.
