Jewish houses and shops pillaged for several days

Jewish houses and shops are looted in Kiev over several days in the month of October.

Kiev had already been struck during the first wave, a generation earlier. The city is the seat of a particularly active Black Hundreds movement, and it would also be, a few years later, the city of the Beilis affair. The continuity is striking: the same city, the same networks, the same accusation taken up in successive forms.
