the call attacked
The call of Xàtiva was attacked during the wave of thirteen ninety-one.
The city, the second in the kingdom of Valencia, had a fortified Jewish quarter and a Moorish district; both were targeted by the same mob. Nearly all the survivors converted, and the city later became one of the hunting grounds of the Inquisition tribunal of Valencia.
