Massacres of 1391
1391·Alcira
The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
the call attacked
The call of Alcira was attacked during the wave of thirteen hundred and ninety-one.
The town of the Ribera, on the Xúquer, was among the communities of the kingdom of Valencia that the wave swept away in a few summer days. After the wave, the Valencian Jewish community had ceased to exist as a body: whatever remained of its members lived on as converts.
