The community of Ávila was attacked during the wave of thirteen hundred and ninety-one.
The Castilian city had one of the most learned communities in the kingdom, and it was near it, at La Guardia, that a century later the accusation of ritual murder would be staged, whose trial served as a pretext for the general expulsion.
