Revdanda, a coastal hamlet in Konkan (Maharashtra), was among the localities on India's west coast where Bene Israel families were established before migration to Bombay in the 19th–20th century. As in other Konkan villages, the community there practiced agriculture and crafts, maintaining its own rites in the absence of formal communal institutions.
