Puławy (anciennement Nowo-Aleksandria) est une ville de la région de Lublin où une communauté juive s'établit au XVIIIe siècle, gravitant autour du commerce fluvial sur la Vistule. La communauté fut déportée à Sobibór et à Treblinka en 1942.
