Husiatyn, bourg de Galicie orientale sur le Zbruch, est le berceau de la dynasty hassidique de Husiatyn, fondée au XIXe siècle par des descendants du Rabbi de Ruzhin. La présence juive y était ancienne et la vie communautaire animée. La Shoah anéantit cette communauté.
