Zekhor le-Avraham (זכור לאברהם) is one of Rabbi Abraham Ankawa's earliest works, printed in Livorno around 1838. In verse with commentary, it sets out the rules of terefot — the anatomical defects that render an animal unfit for consumption — together with liturgical poems. Ankawa travelled to Livorno c. 1838 specifically to have his first books printed. Sources: Encyclopaedia Judaica, 'Ankawa, Abraham ben Mordecai'; Sh.
