Dondușeni, bourg du nord-est de la Moldavie, abrita une petite communauté juive ashkénaze active dans le négoce local aux XIXe–XXe siècles. Comme beaucoup de bourgades moldaves, elle fut durement touchée par les persécutions de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
