Attack — Hadera, bus station
13 avril 1994·Hadera, gare routière
The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
Hadera, on the coastal plain, is a transit hub between Tel-Aviv and Haïfa; its bus station is frequented every morning by workers and soldiers on leave.
One week after the attack in Afula, a man boards a stationary bus and sets off his charge. Passengers are killed and many others wounded.
This second attack within a matter of days establishes a mode of operation that will be repeated for more than ten years: the urban bus, an enclosed and crowded space, becomes the preferred target, and Hadera will have experienced several such attacks.
